Volunteer meeting - 15 Sep 2024

 Minutes of Meeting:

• Declared that the school name changed to Chattanooga Tamil Palli.

• It is announced that School Principal will be Poovendran, Vice-principal will be Kavi (Gowdhami) and Secretary will be Yoganandhini (Nandhini).

• Kavi will be the point of contact for all teaching related topics.

• Nandhini will be the point of contact for all non-teaching related topics.

• Poovendran will be the point of contact for all other escalations and topics.

• 3 types of volunteers defined

• Fully committed teaching volunteers 

• Fully committed non-teaching volunteers 

• Adhoc volunteers 

• Requested all to refer more backup teachers and fully committed volunteers.

• Improvements

• Snacks signup form

• Parents teachers meeting sign up form

• Padaipulagam

• All important updates on blog.

• Introduced new teachers (Manuja, Freethy, Prema, Hema T).

Points to follow for all of us based on feedbacks:

• Please do not remove any person from the WhatsApp group without any notice.

• Main teacher will always contact the Backup teacher to arrange their regular classes during their absence.

• Important Tamil school events can be shared in CTS Tamil Sangam WhatsApp group and also CHA-General group will be used for day to day Tamil related posts (to avoid spamming CTS group on daily basis).

• Please do not discuss any points which are discussed in all internal event/ teaching  groups unless it is decided to be published to others.

• If we are committed to any volunteer work or tasks and we are unable to contribute or focus more on that task due to any other unavoidable situations, please inform the team about the tasks so that others can pitch in to help and complete it.

• Request to discuss only the points that we have as a feedback and to avoid any controversial words.

• School Management to address or respond to all the related questions.
