  • Revise the consonants க் - ண். Learn words for the letters to tell in class.

  • Learn Lesson-21 காட்டு விலங்குகள். Learn the names of the animals. Use the questions from the classwork as guidance.

    • NOTE: Questions will be asked in class and marks will be given based on answers given by students.

  • Do பயிற்சி-10 in the Exercise Book.

  • Do pages 18 & 19 in Handwriting Book.

  • Conversation: See the Video-Theme-1(Jing) Session-4 Segment-3

    • Do the conversation, activity and submit the video to the teacher before the next week's class.

  • Students learn a new Tamil word and its meaning for the letter “ட்” or “ண்” other than the book to tell in class.

  • Prepare for project 3 - காட்டு விலங்குகள்  (Wild animals). Due on week 14.

  • Students bring red, blue and yellow colored kerchief or bandana or tissue paper or ribbons for next week's class (Week-13).

More details on project 3 (due on week 14):

  • Project 3 - காட்டு விலங்குகள் (Wild animals)

  • Use construction paper and stick/draw and color pictures of 5 wild animals or bring toys of wild animals/stuffed animals and learn their names in Tamil.

  • Tell two facts about your favorite animal in Tamil.

  • Students should be able to tell the animal names clearly & two facts about their favorite animal in Tamil when the teacher asks them in class.

  • Marks will be given based on the effort put in for the project and how fluently the students can present their project in Tamil in the class.
