3. Home work

• Revise consonants ல் - ன். Pictures from the book will be asked for revision. Learn words for the letters to tell in class.

• Learn Lesson 38 – காய்கறிகள். Learn the names of the vegetables. Use the below questions as guidance.

• Do பயிற்சி-15 (only 1st and 2nd part) & 23 (2nd part) in Exercise Book.

• Do pages 30 & 31 in Handwriting Book.

• Conversation: See the Video- Theme-7 (Vegetables) Session-3 Segment-3

• Draw a picture using the vegetables or create a picture with the shape of vegetables. Take a photo and say these in Tamil.

• What picture it is

• Name of the vegetables you have used in that picture.

• Color of those vegetables.

• This can also be an interactive talk between a parent/friend.... One person asking the question and a student answering in Tamil.

• Do the conversation, activity and submit the video to the teacher before the next week's class.

• Students learn a new Tamil word and its meaning for the letter ற் or ன் other than the book to tell in class.

• Prepare for Project 4 - காய்கறிகளும் அதன் நிறங்களும் (Vegetables and its colors). Due on Week 21.

• Use the construction paper and stick / draw and color at least one or more (for each category of color) pictures of vegetables or bring toys of vegetables under these categories of colors - green, purple, red and orange.

• In class, the students need to say the name of each vegetable and what color is that vegetable in Tamil.

• Marks will be given based on the effort put in for the project and how fluently the students can present their project in Tamil in the class.
